Natural skin care shopping for the best way to get rid of lines and wrinkles can be easy.
You might think it’s difficult and confusing, and yes, it can be. That’s because there are probably hundreds, maybe thousands, of products that use the word “natural” — and yet, they’re not even close.
Here are some ingredients that are both natural and proven effective in scientific testing.

– Natural vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant proven in many clinical studies to reverse the effects of skin aging. It reduces fine lines and wrinkles.
This sounds like a no brainer, and it is. But check one detail: Natural vitamin E technically is described as d-alpha-tocopherol. If the label says “dl-alpha-tocopherol” that’s a hidden catch. That “dl” part at the beginning indicates it’s a synthetic form of vitamin E.
Synthetic vitamin E is not nearly as effective — but it’s widely used because it’s cheap!
– Grapeseed oil is especially effective for repairing the skin around the eyes.
It contains vitamin E (natural, of course) and several essential oils. It’s absorbed fast by the skin and leaves a moisture-protecting film, yet doesn’t feel greasy.

– Honey has been used for healthy skin for many centuries, believe it or not. Today, a type called Active Manuka Honey has been discovered by New Zealand university scientists to contain much higher levels of antioxidants than usual types.
That’s a good beginning, if you’d like to find natural ingredients that really work, and have a long record of safety, free from the side effects that are common from the chemicals found in many of today’s skin care products.
