2012Susan Wyler, RD, Debuts Triangle Nutritional Wellness.
Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) June 04, 2012 - Nationally acclaimed cookbook author and food editor Susan Wyler, MPH, RD, LDN, has recently opened Triangle Nutritional Wellness as a complementary practice at Chapel Hill Doctors Integrative Health Center. A registered dietitian and licensed nutritionist accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Wyler will work with the center to provide traditional and integrative medical nutrition therapy and dietary support to patients in the Triangle area. As one of its first unique services, she is working with the center to provide a Spring Wellness Package to help people achieve optimal health.
"The Spring Wellness Package provides people the opportunity to improve overall wellness," said Wyler. "If they've already had their annual physical and they want to take their vitality to the next level, then the Spring Wellness Package is a great way to obtain the best health possible."
The Spring Wellness Package starts clients with a preliminary nutritional consultation given by Wyler, which offers them an opportunity to explore their individual nutritional needs and evaluate how well they are currently meeting those needs. Following the consultation, clients move on to a private personalized lesson with a certified Tai Chi instructor. This ancient practice provides a low-impact method for improving mobility and balance. The package concludes with a totally relaxing and healing therapeutic massage provided by one of the center's experienced licensed massage therapists.
A limited number of the Spring Wellness Packages are currently being offered at a discounted rate of $175 for 3 hours, which includes nutrition consultation, massage and tai chi; and $135 for 2 hours, for those with a time crunch, which offers nutrition consultation and massage. For more information about the Spring Wellness Package and Wyler's office hours, please visit Triangle Nutritional Wellness at http://www.chapelhilldoctors.com.
Wyler received her Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During this time, she completed an advanced internship at Institute Gustave Roussy, one of the leading cancer research hospitals in France. Wyler also collaborated with Dr. Thomas Rau, a Swiss physician who practices biologic medicine, which excels at treating chronic degenerative and inflammatory diseases.
Before becoming certified as a registered dietitian and licensed nutritionist, Wyler was a nationally known food editor, most notably at Food & Wine magazine, and author as well as producer of numerous award-nominated best-selling cookbooks.

Well-Known Author, Chef and Weight Loss Expert Releases New ZERO Carb, ZERO Calorie Sweetener

2012Doug Varrieur, well-known author of the FAT TO SKINNY book series, weight-loss expert and chef for the national DAILY BUZZ morning show releases new FAT TO SKINNY ZERO Sweetener.
(1888PressRelease) March 07, 2012 - One of the most sought-after products in the low-carb world is so-called "liquid Splenda". Why? Because Sucralose, the sweetener in Splenda, is so incredibly concentrated (600 times the sweetness of sugar) that it needs a "carrier" to dilute it in order to be useful. Unfortunately, the filler which carries the Sucralose in Granular Splenda includes dextrose and maltodextrin - both of which are carbohydrates. This equates to "sugar" in Granular Splenda. A packet of Splenda has about one gram of carbohydrate, and a cup of Granular Splenda has 24 grams of carbs. Other zero carb sweeteners such as Malitol, Sorbitol and Xylitol, although sweet, are labeled "Sugar Alcohols" and have definite negative effects on our systems including an unwanted "gaseous" effect.
Doug Varrieur, well-known author of the FAT TO SKINNY book series, weight loss expert and chef for the national DAILY BUZZ morning show has solved the dilemma by formulating the new FAT TO SKINNY ZERO Sweetener.
Named ZERO because it promises to contain ZERO sugar, carbs, calories, sugar alcohols or aftertaste, ZERO is extremely concentrated. One ounce of ZERO contains the same sweetness as 12.5 cups of sugar.
Manageable, ZERO is dispensed by the drop from a 1-ounce easy to "throw in your purse" squeeze bottle delivering one drop at a time. One drop is the equivalent in sweetness as one teaspoon of sugar. Great for baking or simply sweetening a beverage ZERO promises to deliver drop after drop the kind of ZERO carb "sweet" that has been so sought-after in low carbohydrate eating plans. The product, due for national release April 1st, 2012, can be purchased from this website: http://www.shop.fattoskinny.com.
